Stacie Scherer is a Licensed Professional Counselor and a National Certified Counselor in private practice at APSC. Stacie earned her Masters Degree in Counseling Psychology from Alabama A & M University in Huntsville , Alabama . Her clinical experience has come from both private and public agencies and includes individual and group therapy. Her experience at Huntsville Hospital has provided her with valuable skills in assessment and treatment of psychiatric issues. She also has extensive experience in substance abuse counseling through her work at Bradford Health Services in Madison , Alabama.

Stacie has worked with children, adolescents and adults in a variety of disciplines. She is interested in play therapy techniques and behavior modification for children and coaches parents in implementation of behavior management techniques at home.

Stacie’s counseling practice focuses on counseling couples and families, adults, adolescents and children of all ages. Stacie’s services include counseling for:
